Q. How do you feel ?

Aah British weather .. sunny days in April and rain in May with some hot days and June so far not blown away until a month end heatwave !

Q. Seen anything in the papers & mags ?

• Spotted the following items in my daily tabloid paper, The Sun ....


1. Blink and you missed a paragraph titled NUDE CARLA SELLS which tells of "a nude photo of French First Lady Carla Bruni in bed fetched £12,200 in Berlin yesterday." The naked price of fame ( 05/06 ).

2. Yes another naked calendar as "saucy students bring a smile to historic Oxford University as they bare all" for these b&w poses with a red placed object in each photo. The photo item titled Oxford Mooniversity tells of "around 60 youngsters [who] peeled off .. to boost local charity TravelAid, which helps students volunteer abroad." The items ends "they all showed their class", yes of course but I always wonder how many of these calendar posers would actually set foot on a nudist beach or visit a naturist club ? ( 09/06 ).


3. A photo item headed Lilo tweet treat shows "saucy starlet Lindsay Lohan [who] gives fans a real tweet - in a topless snap she posted on Twitter. The picture was taken for a make-up ad a while ago,but the Means Girls actress has now decided to show it to the world." First impression, is she auditioning for the part of Lady Godiva who rode a white horse through Coventry ? In her case she'll probably use Herbie, her white VW friend. Strange how these blonde ladies always manage to cover their breasts ( not a nipple in sight ) with their long hair ( 17/06 ).


4. I know from reading when casting for the role you try to choose an actor who will capture the persona of the character but I'm not sure about this lot for "the stage version of Calendar Girls". I don't remember a Texan girl as one of WI ladies ? The title of Blimey! Dot's got note on refers to EastEnder June Brown, ( back, second left in photo ) 82, who "bares nearly all for the play in London's West End." Meanwhile former model Jerry Hall ( far right ) seems to holding on to the piano to cover her panty line for the publicity photo ? ( 20/06 ).
5. A lot of coverage on the net but tucked away as a paragraph titled THE SKINFORCERS which tells of "special wardens [who] will watch out for 'sexual misconduct' at Studland Bay nudist beach, Dorset." Let's hope the culprits giving this favourite naturist beach some bad PR are caught ! ( 30/06 ).


• My local newspaper Kentish Times has an item on The World Naked Bike Ride titled My city bike ride as bare as I dare which tells of writer Mark Campbell ( seen in left photo ) who joined "more than 1,000 cyclists [who] took part in London's most famous thoroughfares .. with a dress code of clothing optional and the proviso that you should be as 'bare as you dare'.. " The writer/rider who "never done this sort of thing before, although for several years .. worked as a life model so being naked in the presence of strangers was not going to be a problem." He set off from Hyde Park Corner at 3.30pm with 1,200 Saturday bikers and ends "What a marvellous, bizarre, crazy thing to do. The only downside ( apart from saddle soreness ) is that .. to wait a whole year to do it again." Sounds like one of the converted for next year's June 12 ride ( 18/06 ).

• Alas nothing to be seen !
